LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel was able to catch up with LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel’s Design Consultant, Erick “Roho” Garcia.  Erick “Roho” Garcia is a multifaceted artist who uses art to beautify the community. His outlets and inspirations are vast in variation and keen on the beauty of creation. His artwork is collaborative in mediums, from spray painting to acting on stage, mixing music to dancing. He is most well known for his murals. His pieces of work are vibrant and lively. Filled with a mixture of blues, greens and yellows, Garcia implements what he knows onto the canvas, paper or wall he has to work with.

The Designer Behind LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel

On a sunny day, my photographer (Nikko), designer (Roho) and I drove to the Threadless headquarters and corporate offices located on Madison and Elizabeth St. (Chicago, IL).  In the parking lot there was a vintage styled steel-clad RV camper with the Threadless logo prominently on the side. As we approached the building, the gigantic Threadless sign made it clear that we were about to enter one of the most innovative t-shirt companies ever.  When we entered the nice sized building we immediately looked up, all three jaws dropped, and nearly in unison, Nikko, Roho, and I said, ‘this is cool!’  Before us was a warehouse with hundreds of t-shirts hanging from the ceiling, a spectacular-sized robot, walls decorated with mural art, and in one corner, a photo shoot where a photographer was snapping photos of a model wearing some of the new t-shirt designs.  Within this space, LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel will make its debut to the world for the first time.
