LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel was able to catch up with LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel’s Design Consultant, Erick “Roho” Garcia. Erick “Roho” Garcia is a multifaceted artist who uses art to beautify the community. His outlets and inspirations are vast in variation and keen on the beauty of creation. His artwork is collaborative in mediums, from spray painting to acting on stage, mixing music to dancing. He is most well known for his murals. His pieces of work are vibrant and lively. Filled with a mixture of blues, greens and yellows, Garcia implements what he knows onto the canvas, paper or wall he has to work with.

Why LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel? What is the inspiration behind the apparel line? What is the back-story of LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel? How did an educator get into apparel? As we come close to the final months of our first collection, I would like to share the story behind LEARNtheBrand Impact Apparel. This is the story of a social impact apparel line committed to transforming education, one shirt at a time.
Have you ever watched a good television program, and after the credits have rolled up your television screen, there are a few clips that show the ‘bloopers’ or ‘behind the scenes’ recordings? On the occasions when this has happened to me, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed a brief glimpse of what was not intended to be viewed by the public equally as much as the final edited program. Perhaps, it is the fact that the ‘bloopers’ or the ‘behind the scenes’ shots show the program in its organic state. Or, maybe, the unedited footage provides an example of how mistakes were necessary to create such an enjoyable viewing experience.
